Note di degustazione
The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is beautifully chiseled, unfurling in the glass with notes of pear, citrus oil, toasted nuts, dried white flowers and bread dough. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy, with chalky structure and a saline finish, it derives from the excellent hillside lieu-dit Pot Bois (readers might think of this terroir as Chassagne-Montrachet's answer to Meursault Chevalières).

Tank sample. Mid lemon. Apple, pear and some peach. This is more supple than the very mineral l’Ébaupin with moderately high, fresh acidity, some flesh and medium to full body. (MH)
The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Pot Bois has a clean, precise bouquet, with scents of crushed stone and sea spray developing in the glass. This is a little more neutral than the previous vintage. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity. It is a nicely proportioned Chassagne-Montrachet with a linear, stem ginger-tinged finish. Fine.
