Deep ruby-red. Higher-pitched, fruitier aromas of red licorice and cherry liqueur. Pure, bright and nicely focused, with a strong mineral spine giving the flavors a penetrating quality. Long, tannic and rather powerful for the vintage, but without any rough edges.
