Note di degustazione
The 2019 Rosso Di Montalcino pours a deep ruby/magenta hue and is seamless with notes of black cherries, violets, rosemary, and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it floats across the palate with ease and has a silky texture, sweet tannins, and a balanced finish. It’s approachable and well-detailed, with a lot of potential to enjoy over the next 10 years. There’s nothing austere about this wine, though it’s sure to improve with time in cellar and allow its more umami tones to come to the forefront. Drink 2026-2036.

Informazioni sul produttore

A cult address for many Italian fine wine lovers, Cerbaiona is one of Montalcino’s top estates. The site has long been identified as special, but it was Diego Molinari who established its reputation. Today, Matthew Fioretti is at the helm, bringing the estate into the modern era.
