2013 Chassagne Montrachet Les Vergers

Pale, bright yellow. Showy aromas of pear, orange zest and minerals. Fruitier and sweeter than the 2014 version, offering a fleshiness that that wine currently lacks. ("The 2014 is rigid, like the 2010," notes Pillot.) This lovely pliant, harmonious wine finishes with excellent lemony lift.
