(bottled in May) Pale yellow. Perfumed aromas of yellow peach and vanilla. Rich, chewy and suave, with lovely lift and perfume to its stone fruit and crushed stone flavors. Wonderfully tactile and penetrating wine with noteworthy purity for 2008. Finishes with explosive mineral persistence. Alix de Montille told me the family is now picking these vines earlier than previously.
