Note di degustazione
The 1990 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Vergers from Michel Niellon has a light peach-skin and nectarine-scented bouquet with hints of pebble beach – all nicely defined and holding up well after 23 years. The palate is crisp and pointed on the entry. There is impressive tension considering the warmth of the season and fine depth, if not quite the same level of complexity, on the nose as you approach the finish. Very fine. Drink now. Tasted November 2013.
