Pale greenish yellow. Cool aromas of lemon and lime ice and white flowers. Ripe but juicy and brisk, with nicely integrated acidity giving cut and lift to the lemon-lime flavors. Nicely balanced wine with very good length. Assistant winemaker Jacques Montagnon notes that 2008 is high in dry extract, and that evaporation due to the drying north wind before the harvest saved the vintage.

Pale, green-tinged color. Ripe citrus and white flowers on the nose. Fat, chewy and sweet; comes across as richer than the Meursault but with less punch in the early going. The wine's intriguing soil tones convey an impression of solid dry extract. Finishes with lemon and floral notes.
