The 2020 Barolo Del Comune Di Serralunga D'Alba is a bright red color and has a pretty and floral nose with notes of violets, preserved berries, hints of fresh blue fruit, and sweet earth and herbs. The palate is more structured and savory with ripe tannins, and while it has the fruit for a balanced, ripe feel, it’s never weighted and has a good deal of immediate appeal without losing serious character underneath. Drink over the next 4-5 years.
