The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Village unfurls in the glass with notes of peach, white flowers, citrus zest and nutmeg. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it’s a fine-boned, elegant white that will drink well young.

The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a more austere bouquet, Zen-like with petrichor and gravelly scents. The palate is very well balanced with a keen line of acidity, strict with a sapid sour lemon-tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. This should drink well over the next decade.

Half each purchased as grapes and must. Picked on the 18th and 21st. Mid lemon yellow. The freshest of the three village wines tasted, not quite floral, but finely chiselled. Notably saline behind white stone fruit, medium length.
