1 x 350-litre new barrel. Glowing mid yellow. An amazing intensity for sure, in a riper register than the Bâtard. Starts with a sense of concentration which then builds into majesty. Stands outside even the beautiful wines earlier in the range. A little dry apricot at the end of the palate, but otherwise a startling sweetness of fruit throughout. Very fine.
