Note di degustazione
Frosted in 2016. Just under Montrachet and next to Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. Clay limestone at the base of the slope. Richness of Bâtard and minerality of Montrachet, Bruno Colin suggests. Tank sample, already fined with casein. A strongly mineral nose. Intense, direct lemon-juice purity and freshness with a mineral almost salty side. Very stony on the palate too, bone dry and elegant. Taut, all tied up on the palate. Crisp and mouth-watering and really long. (JH)

Highly perfumed aromas of underripe pineapple, anise, white flowers and crushed rock. Silky, subtle and complex, offering a lovely balance of citrus zest fruit and power. At once generous and tight, this graceful, dry wine features a smooth, rising finish with enticing notes of lemon zest and mandarin orange. Nothing hard-edged about this wine--and the longest of these premier crus to this point by a clear margin. The yield here was around 50 hectoliters per hectare in 2017, as the vines snapped back after producing almost nothing in 2016.
