2000 Attilio Ghisolfi Barolo Bricco Visette

The 2000 Barolo Bricco Visette is a bit more traditional than the d’Alba Vigna Lisi, though with a very personal interpretation of the concept of tradition. The wild cherry fruit, anisette, roses, and herbs of Nebbiolo are all present, the palate is dense and structured, very firm in its tannins but without any roughness, and the tar and licorice of the close are given an additional complexity by a pleasurable sweetness and spiciness.
