Monforte d'Alba. Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Quite open knit, popular alluring nose. Just a little dusty. Sweet and concentrated and structured by plenty of acidity. Just a little too exotic for me. (WS)

Good dark, fresh red. Alluring musky perfume combines liqueur-like strawberry and a hint of leather, along with some exotic floral high notes. Then juicy, tight and surprisingly primary in the mouth, with firm acidity framing the red and darker berry flavors. This firmly built midweight finishes with serious dusty tannins that will require at least several years of aging.
