The 2021 Barolo is quite the powerhouse. A burst of red berry fruit, blood orange, cinnamon, rose petal, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco hits the palate first. Readers will want to give this a few years in bottle, as the acids and tannins need time to settle down. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo has a lot to offer. There's a lot of wine here.

Lifted cranberry nose that is still very shy and with a touch of volatile acidity. Racy red fruit with fine, clinging tannins. Mouth-watering yet filled out with fresh red fruit.
