2021 Barolo

The 2021 Barolo Perno is an elegant, alluring wine that is also more accessible than most young Barolos at this address. Deeply pitched cinnamon, orange peel, new leather and cedar notes open first. Medium in body but quite powerful, the 2021 is going to need at least a handful of years to come together. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo is quite closed today, and yet it is also wonderfully complex. The Perno hovers on the palate with tons of distinction.
