Note di degustazione
Dark red cherry, smoke, licorice, tobacco, cedar and dried herbs flesh out in Abrigo's 2012 Barbaresco Montersino. The aromatics are starting to show just the first signs of development, but the 2012 has enough depth to drink well for at least a handful of years.

Treiso. Deep youthful ruby. Sweet cherry fruit rises up like a cloud from the glass and with hints of smoke. Playful, supple and ripe palate with a slightly drying tannic finish. A little rich but with lots of potential. (WS)
The 2012 Barbaresco Montersino shows dark extraction and deep ruby intensity. This wine is aged in barrique, of which 20% is new oak. The bouquet opens to fleshy, round notes of soft cherry and blackberry. Montersino delivers soft contours, good balance and bright intensity. It aspires to a high level of harmony and opulence that make it appropriate for either near or long-term consumption.
