2020 Curto Marco Barolo Arborina

Raised in a small French barrique, the 2020 Barolo Arborina pours a jeweled ruby color and opens to very pretty, ripe aromas of raspberry liqueur, candied roses, licorice, and sweet spices. The palate has a rounded and ripe feel, with a bit more pliant tannins, good depth on the palate, and an even spine of acidity. It has a more approachable feel now but should drink well over the next 8-10 years.
