The 1990 Volnay-Pitures is a more muscular, tannic, structured wine than the 1990 Volnay-Ronceret, with a leaner, sleeker texture, and less fruit in evidence. The wine exhibits good weight and depth, but I recommend at least 3-4 years of cellaring. It should last for a decade.
