1995 Meursault Charmes

Looking for a (somewhat) affordable wine to purchase for a child born in 1995 to drink on its 21st birthday? If so, Jobard's Meursault Charmes, is the wine for you. Honeysuckle and ripe fruits on the nose, and a highly concentrated mouth of white flowers combined with a tight but powerful core of sweet fruit, make this a fabulous example of age-worthy Chardonnay. Drink it between 2005-2017. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29. Ratings with a range of scores in parentheses indicate the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle.
