Subdued peachy nose. Less creamy in the mouth than the Meursaults, with bright acidity framing the peachy fruit. Combines a distinct nervosite with a suggestion of surmaturite This sweet, easygoing 2008 finishes with a strong sappy quality and lovely length. Very successful wine.

Seems riper and broader than the Meursault Perrières. Tight and pure but just a little lacking concentration in the middle so the spice is rather dominant on the finish. (JH)
Good pale yellow. Perfumed nose combines ripe peach, spices and sexy nut oils. Rich, fat, sweet and harmonious, showing better concentration of fruit today than the Perrieres. There's a luminosity to the flavors of orange peel and spice that gives the wine an impression of energy. Finishes tactile and persistent, but not at all bitter.
