Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2020

The 2017 Chablis Blanchots Grand Cru is powerful, dense and creamy, with notes of orange peel, spice, dried pear, and hazelnut. Ample and aromatically expressive, the Blanchots is all about texture. Tropical fruit, spice and vanillin accents add to its forward, open-knit personality.

35-year-old vines planted at 7,300 vines/ha. Yields 40 hl/ha. Spontaneous fermentation over five months, aged in old oak. Mechanical press. TA 4.1 g/l. Bottled 5 July 2018. A little fatter than most Chablis. Just a little loose. Global-warming effect? (JR)

The 2017 Chablis Blanchots Grand Cru has a superb, mineral driven, almost austere bouquet that unfurls in the glass. The palate is well balanced but to be honest, does not quite deliver the complexity and precision that I was expecting. Maybe just an off day?

Punteggio 91-93/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018

The 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchots is quite exotic and gourmand, wafting from the glass with notes of orange blossom, peaches and honeycomb. On the palate, it's full-bodied, rich and textural, with lovely salinity and succulent acids.
