2009 Attilio Ghisolfi Barolo Bricco Visette

Good deep red. Roasted red fruits, coffee, mocha and nutty oak on the nose. Fat, saline and sweet; a bit riper but less delineated and energetic than the 2010 version. This big, broad wine shows a perfumed truffley underbrush character but could use a bit more lift and class. Tannins reach the front teeth.
