Note di degustazione
Flint and stone with dried-apple and lemon-rind notes. It’s full and layered, yet formed and beautiful. Drink now or hold.

The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Village offers apple blossom, dewy meadow and leafy aromas on the nose, a touch of sea spray emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a waxy-textured opening, fine acidity, and touches of ginger and orange peel furnishing the persistent finish. Well crafted for a Village Cru.
Cask sample. More obviously oaky on the nose than many of the Drouhin 2018 whites tasted so far. Creamy, mealy but with a nice impression of stony freshness. Generous and rounded yet still just fresh enough on the finish. (JH)
