Good full deep red. Deep, wild aromas of red berries, dark chocolate and game, with a slightly grapey aspect. Large-scaled but subtle, with notes of earth and minerals. Long finish features big, ripe tannins. De Montille describes these tannins as rougher, but there also more mid-palate extract to buffer them.
