Neive. Full bottle 1,354 g. Just mid ruby. Lifted and amazingly fresh for this torrid vintage. Cranberry and raspberry. Hints of oatmeal. Cranberry and sour-cherry palate with long, sandy tannins. Fresh and almost light bodied. Very good length and very elegant and well executed in this year, but nothing for those who look for power or concentration. Something for Pinot Noir lovers and a bargain in that context. Needs another year to open up. (WS)

The 2017 Barbaresco Serraboella is a wine of tremendous charm. Pliant, open-knit and racy to the core, the Serraboella is immensely delicious right now. Crushed flowers, cinnamon, sweet red cherry, kirsch and blood orange fill out the layers effortlessly. Readers will have a hard time keeping their hands off the 2017.
Attractive nose, layered with rose-petal and floral notes dominating. There is a nice sweetness to the fruit and firm tannins. A little backwards at the moment, but a very refreshing and refined understated wine. (AC)
