Note di degustazione
(from a 1989 planting): Aromas of lemon cream and crushed stone show a faintly lactic quality. Fat, rich, ripe and sweet, but with noteworthy energy and grip to its peach and citrus flavors. In a slightly aggressive, unrefined style, finishing with a distinct sweetness and a dusty, lightly phenolic quality. This promising premier cru needs at least a year or two to harmonize in bottle but its lively citrussy acidity should keep it fresh.

Rather simple and floral on the nose with pastry cream aromas. Just a tad dull. (JR)
Pineapple and lichee on the nose. Very rich and tactile, conveying an impression of slightly elevated alcohol but also a lot of dusty extract to the flavors of ripe pineapple, peach and menthol. A bit youthfully aggressive but there's excellent material here, and very good length.
