2000 Domaine Marc Colin et Fils Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru

This St-Aubin grower, father of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, owns no Chevalier vines but has 0.26 acre of Le Montrachet among other fine holdings. One of many well regarded growers named Colin in and around Chassagne-Montrachet . Gold. Light nose but fine and delicate. Quite polished. Some satin texture. Very correct and muscular. Not quite ready. Not enormous but lively. Pretty introvert. (JR)
