The 2015 Barolo Fossati is a plush and darkly concentrated wine that plays its strongest cards in terms of texture and mouthfeel. There are hints of sweet fruit here with bold cherry, blackberry, plum, spice and cured leather. The Fossati cru in La Morra offers immediate, attractive and accessible fruit. Some 15,000 bottles were made.

Wonderful blueberry and floral aromas follow through to a full-body and firm, silky tannins. Tannic at the end. Linear and bright. Better after 2021.
