Note di degustazione
From magnum. Sweet spicy oak, slightly reductive. White grapefruit, some struck match. Richly textured, full in the mouth, quite dense but well balanced with fine freshness. Less austere than the Roulot. Spice lingers on and on. Taut but also dense, powerful. (JH)

Complex, musky aromas of pear, lemon, white flowers, hazelnut and stone, with a distinctly steely quality adding interest. Very ripe and suave, with terrific inner-mouth definition and lift to the white peach, lemon and mineral flavors. Showing the open side of 2007, but this lush, rich wine has plenty of spine underneath and finishes with enticing perfume. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if this closed down in bottle. For his part, Pillot believes it can be enjoyed now or after seven or eight years.
Tight nose suggests minerals, mint and white flowers. Then dense and fat, with lovely sucrosity to the white peach and passion fruit flavors. Strong but ripe acidity gives this excellent inner-mouth verve and extends the fruity finish.
