2008 Barolo

Smoke, tar, incense and leather all take shape as the 2008 Barolo opens up in the glass. The mid-weight personality of the vintage comes through, but at the same time, there is an attractive juiciness that gives the 2008 a level of approachability that is unusual in a young Serralunga Barolo. Sweet floral notes add lift and creaminess on the finish.
