2020 Volnay Fremiets

The 2020 Volnay Les Fremiets 1er Cru, which sees 20% new oak, has a very slight ferrous notes that tinctures the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, more cohesive than the aromatics, nice build in the mouth with a lightly spiced and quite elegant finish. Give this 4-5 years in bottle. Closure: Diam 5
