2014 Barolo Riserva Fossati Case Nere

A ten-year release from a challenging vintage, the medium brick-colored 2014 Barolo Riserva 10 Anni Case Nere offers elegant notes of fresh tobacco, dried red roses, fresh leather, and dried herbs. The palate is energetic and linear, with a fantastic mineral undertone, and it’s mouthwatering and long on the palate. It holds up phenomenally, with gorgeous structure throughout. Oone of the great successes of 2014, it’s by far one of the best 2014s I’ve have tasted. Drink it over the next 15 years. Bravo.
