1999 Barbaresco Curra

Like the Fausoni, the 1999 Barbaresco Currà seems to have aged mostly on its spine of firm tannins. Here the expression of fruit is linear and energetic, but not especially generous or sweet, as the best wines from this site can be. Although a bit compact, the 1999 has nevertheless aged quite nicely.
