Note di degustazione
The 2011 Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru has a detailed and harmonious bouquet with what feels like a very well integrated stem addition that lends complexity. Floral scents of violet and peony emerge with time and enhance the aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a crisp line of acidity, quite minerally/stony towards the finish with impressive length if not the depth that one would expect in a more benevolent growing season. Fine. Tasted at Flint Wines Burgundy 2011 tasting.

Racy and flashy and with lots of fruit. Racy. Long. Fruitier than most. But with a metallic finish. (JR)
(two-thirds vendange entier; 20% new oak): Good medium red. Inviting aromas of redcurrant and cherry. Pure and high-pitched, with noteworthy energy to the spicy red fruit flavors. Finishes with a firm spine of minerals and tannins and lovely rising length. Very sappy, spicy wine, the most pristine 2011 in the cellar to this point in my tasting.
