Harvested 1-7 October. Whole cluster. 10 months in oak. Smells riper fruited than the Meursault. Still has a slight smoky note but there's a riper citrus aroma and flavour. Oak more evident on the palate than in the Meursault but very finely integrated and perfectly judged in its supporting role. Long, lightly toasted finish. (JH)
Pale yellow. Aromas of white peach and white pepper are a bit blocked by oak. Vibrant but youthfully disassociated, with fruit currently masked by salty minerality. The saline quality carries through on the tactile, building finish. A more energetic wine than the Meursault but less expressive today.
