Stern minerality and tart red berry fruits balance out the round palate, which takes on a crunchy feel toward the close, while brisk acidity maintains amazing energy. It's gently tannic with a balanced structure, leaving a minty, saline resonance. In 2023, Canalicchio Di Sopra lost about 60% of their production due to Peronospora, and used their Brunello fruit for the Rosso di Montalcino.
