1997 Chassagne Montrachet Virondot

I loved the 1997 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Virondots each time I tasted it (I've tried it on at least 6 occasions to date). It has a fresh, earthy, white/red fruit, and gravel-scented nose. On the palate, creamy pears, apples, and a gorgeously pure minerality can be found. It is medium-to-full-bodied, tangy, silky, fresh, rich, and possesses a well-delineated and complex finish.
