2023 Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot

The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeots 1er Cru hails from one of the earlier picked sites in order to preserve acidity. This has a more airy, slightly malic bouquet at the moment, with touches of sea spray and yellow fruit developing only after some aeration. The palate is very harmonious, open-knit and expressive, though the Vergers displays a touch of terroir and mineralité on the finish at present. This is more elegant in style and perhaps earlier drinking.
