Bright, light yellow. Perfumed aromas of crushed stone and lemon zest. Densely packed but light on its feet, with strong saline minerality nicely complementing sweet white peach and lemon oil flavors. Shows more body and texture than the Garenne and finishes suave and persistent. This is the first vintage as a domain bottling, as Faiveley purchased these vines after many years of buying the must.

Sample (not yet bottled) is slightly cloudy. Lovely pear aroma as well as grapefruit, clementine notes, the oak subtle on the nose and a little more evident on the palate in the creamy texture and depth of flavour. Oatmeal comes through on the fresh finish. (JH)
