Note di degustazione
Tasted blind. Rather sweet toasty nose. A bit jagged and still unintegrated. Big and bold. Sort of Lafon style (though obviously not Lafon). A bit raw, beefy and ungainly at the moment but I think it will definitely develop into something rather special. (JR)

Bright medium yellow. Apple and pear aromas are complicated by menthol and soil. Supple, sweet and on the cool side for the vintage, with sweet apple and pear flavors accented by a touch of dusty minerals and complicated by oak notes of char and vanilla. Finishes firmly dry, with a note of pear and very good limey lift.
Young vines – planted in 2004. Mixed red and white soils. 16-17% new barrels. Dense and firm and really quite respeectable even when tasted straight after the Puligny Perrieres. Fresh and racy with wet-stone aromas. Crackling pace. (JR)
