2019 Barolo Riserva

The 2019 Barolo Riserva Bussia Cascina Dardi is fabulous. Rich, aromatic and seductive, Fantino's 2019 captures the truest essence of Bussia. Deeply pitched, spiced aromatics are immediately alluring. Macerated red cherry, spice, menthol, blood orange, tobacco and cedar are some of the many notes that follow. The 2019 is super-classic, and yet the tannins aren't that forbidding for a young Barolo from this vintage. Readers looking for a fine, old-school Barolo that is starting to drink well will find that here. Superb.
