2020 Barbaresco Roncaglie

The 2020 Barbaresco Roncaglie is a gorgeous, elegant wine. Richly textured and yet classic in feel, the 2020 has a ton to offer. This is a pretty extroverted vintage for the Barbaresco, but its an approach that works well. Succulent red cherry fruit, pomegranate, blood orange and sweet spice are all dialed up. The 2020 impresses with its freshness and very youthful, almost primary, profile. I would not dream of touching a bottle anytime soon.
