Note di degustazione
The 2019 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a fresh, crushed stone and slightly rose petal-scented bouquet that blossoms in the glass. Fine delineation. The palate has a lovely, somewhat waxy texture, lightly spiced with impressive balance and focus. This gently builds in the mouth toward its harmonious, grippy finish that lingers. I might see how this evolves in bottle. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2019 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru comes from a well-exposed south-facing vineyard on deep soils, the average vine age 35 years. It has a superb nose despite the slight reduction, offering crushed stone, petrichor and apple blossom and almost Loire-like in style. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, very citric in style, and sour lemon toward the finish.
