Note di degustazione
The 2019 Barolo Tortoniano is laced with hints of dried cherry, dried flowers, tobacco, licorice, brown spice and worn-in leather, all of which are suggestive of a wine that is mature and ready to drink. All things considered, this mid-weight Barolo is nicely balanced.

Layers of pine, balsamic, kirsch, and menthol emerge from the 2019 Barolo Tortoniano, balanced nicely with the floral perfume of pressed roses. A medium-bodied and well-structured red, it has ripe tannins, a fresh spine of acidity, and lingering notes of leather and fresh soil. It is charming now, but it certainly has the structure to drink well over the next 8-10 years.
The 2019 Barolo Tortoniano is a fine entry-level offering from Chiarlo. Sweet dried cherry, tobacco, cedar, dried flowers, mint and orange peel are nicely lifted on this mid-weight Barolo. Open in its flavors, with a good deal of complexity, the 2019 comes across as a wine to drink over the next handful of years, but not more.
Orange peel, cherries, and roses on the nose. Fresh and perfumed. Medium-bodied with well-integrated tannins and a fresh and lightly chewy finish. A refinement and beauty to this. Drink now or hold.
