Note di degustazione
The 2021 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a comparatively simple bouquet with light oil resin scents and a touch of star anise coming through with aeration, suggesting a little botrytis. The palate is ripe, slightly honeyed in texture, though overall it is missing some tension and feels a little trop on the finish. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

The 2021 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a fragrant, floral nose with pressed white flowers that complement the linden and pear scents. The palate is well-balanced, elegant and pure with a fine thread of acidity towards the ginger-tinged finish. This is very commendable given the challenges of the season. Seven barrels were produced instead of forty-eight.
