Note di degustazione
The 2017 Rosso di Montalcino is bold, forward and juicy, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Sweet red cherry, spice and floral notes are nicely pushed forward. The 2017 offers terrific depth, while also retaining a good bit of freshness for the year.

The 2017 Rosso di Montalcino is a lean to medium-bodied expression of Sangiovese that would pair perfectly with a heaping plate of pasta with spicy Amatriciana sauce. The wine offers honest and natural informality (with quick-drinking appeal) that is enhanced by sweet cherry, forest fruit and lightly toasted almond.
Pressed lavender and violets with blueberries and fresh herbs. Medium body, fine tannins and a tangy finish. Drink now.
Deep ruby. Open-knit sweet cherry and strawberry nose with a touch of oak. Generous, fruit-driven palate cut through by juicy acidity and stalky tannins. Good, but this should be drunk within the next three years. (WS)
