Note di degustazione
The 2017 Meursault Les Chevalières is soft, open-knit and wonderfully inviting. Pastry, brioche, butter, tropical notes and a touch of new oak add to the wine's overt, racy personality. There is plenty to like in the 2017, but I would prefer to drink it young.

A discreet application of wood can be found on the very fresh, elegant and admirably pure aromas of apple, various citrus nuances and acacia blossom. The sleek and refined middle weight flavors exude an appealing bead of minerality on the attractively textured, clean and dry finish. This chiseled and delicate effort is textbook Chevalières.
Light honeysuckle note but rather a heavy wine on the palate – even fat. Very solid. Probably needs time. (JR)
From a parcel that neighbors Jean-Philippe Fichet's, the 2017 Meursault Les Chevalières offers up aromas of ripe citrus fruit, Mirabelle plum, pastry cream and grapefruit. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, rich but succulent, with a riper, fleshier profile than the 2016, concluding with a long, mouthwatering finish. It's a precocious Chevalières that will drink well young.
