Note di degustazione
(one of two barrels were new): Bright, light yellow. Peach, clove and crushed rock on the nose; very different than Colin's 2011s from Chassagne. Even less expressive in the mouth today than the Chassagne Les Vergers, but with noteworthy richness to the concentrated, tightly wound flavors of peach and spicy oak. Still a touch of oaky bitterness on the back end. This will need time to harmonize and express itself.

Broad and quite rich. Sweet again and by no means unpleasant! Easy to like. Nice angularity. Lots of chew. (JR)
Bright, light yellow. Captivating aromas of pineapple, wet stone, lichee and wild herbs are subtle and complex. Rich and fine-grained if a bit youthfully disjointed today; given considerable power by healthy mineral-driven acidity. Intriguing noble herbs here. Nicely delineated and long, with a slightly bitter edge that will require some bottle aging. This juicy wine really stimulates the taste buds.
