Note di degustazione
Sweet spot Outstanding - Smoky aromas of mineral reduction, spiced pear and acacia blossom give way to more voluminous and denser medium weight flavors that are notably stonier though not nearly as refined, all wrapped in a powerful and balanced finish that is already solidly complex. This is also very much built-to-age and a wine that's going to need at least 5 to 7 years first. Drink 2033+

A lemon colour. This is more on the stones than a heavyweight on the nose. On the palate there is a wealth of ripe citrus, with the start of some yellow peaches, but the stones definitely dominate. Slightly two-speed at the moment, but should pull together by the end of its elevage.
The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Perrières 1er Cru is laced with orange peel, burnt sugar, tropical fruit and a kiss of oak toast. It offers plenty of immediacy and the charm to match. Time in the glass brings out the wine’s salinity and overall tension, qualities that are nearly buried at the outset.
