Note di degustazione
Dark ruby with orange tinges. Subdued, but fine and concentrated nose. There is lots of substance on the palate that is slow to unfurl. Gripping bitter-sweet tannins and juicy cherry fruit on the finish. (WS)

The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is a charming little Rosso that has classic Sangiovese Black cherry fruit as well as ample leafy herbs, earth, and even some forest floor notes. It's even better on the palate where is shows ample sweet fruit, a rounded texture, and surprising depth and richness. Drink this total charmer anytime over the coming 2-4 years.
The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is packed tight with bold cherry fruit and blueberry. The wine's color is dark, almost purple, and the aromas are vinous and raw. The bouquet here offers a very direct and immediate quality of fruit, and you can absolutely taste the skins, pulp and seeds of the grape. That taste profile brings you straight inside the Sangiovese berry. All that tonic freshness and fruitiness just calls out for a steaming plate of fettuccine with wild porcini mushrooms piled high on top.
